DulcoEase Stool Softener provides relief when bowel movement is painful or difficult, if you are constipated or suffer from piles or anal fissure. DulcoEase softens hard, dry stools by increasing their absorption of natural fluids. Also may be used before an abdominal x-ray. DulcoEase helps your stool absorb some of the body's natural fluids. It does this by decreasing the surface tension of the stool, and takes one or two days to start working. DulcoEase shows no suggestion of being habit forming.
DulcoEase stool softener to soften hard stools for a more comfortable way to go to the loo. It works by softening the contents of your bowel. The active ingredient (docusate sodium) increases the amount of water and salts absorbed by your stool, to make them softer, easier and more comfortable to pass when you go the loo.
Docusate sodium 100mg. Other ingredients: macrogol 400, propylene glycol, gelatin. glycerol, sorbitol, titanium dioxide (E171), water, colours (E104, E110).
Adults should take 1 capsule orally, up to 6 times per day. Initially, try 3 capsules per day, then adjust according to need. Reduce the dose when you feel more comfortable, usually within 1—2 days. Swallow whole with water. Children under 12 years: Not recommended. For use prior to abdominal X-ray: 4 capsules, as instructed by hospital.
WarningsDo not take if: Pregnant, thinking of becoming pregnant, or breast feeding. Suffering from stomach pains, feeling sick, or have been sick in the last 24 hours. Allergic to the ingredients. Intolerant to a small quantity of sugar (sorbitol, fructose). Taking a mineral oil laxative (liquid paraffin.) Consult a doctor if you need this medicine every day, or have persistent stomach ache. You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.

We aim to deliver orders within 3-5 working days to the shipping address provided by you in your order if the shipping address is in the UK. For orders being delivered outside mainland UK, this will be longer and we cannot give a guaranteed delivery time due to the differences between carriers. Delivery timescales are estimates only. If you do not receive your order within 14 days of us confirming your order has been sent you must notify us and we will investigate the non-delivery provided. Orders from outside the UK have varied delivery charges, depending on the particular country. Please note that in some instances you may be required to answer product related questions from our Pharmacist as part of the checkout process. Failiure to answer these will cause delays. Please allow extra time for Pharmacy approved products.

Express UK Delivery
Please note that Express delivery is only available on orders placed before 1pm (GMT) Monday to Friday in the UK. After 1pm we cannot guarantee express delivery, even if it has been selected. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service, but is an expedited delivery option. Products which need to be approved by a pharmacist are not suitable for express delivery.
