Details

Ferrous Sulphate Tablets is one of a group of medicines called iron supplements, and are used for the prevention and treatment of iron-deficiency anaemia. These medicines are formulated to replace iron in the body. Iron is a mineral that the body needs to produce red blood cells which are vital to keep you in good health.
Ingredients

Ingredients

Each tablet contains: 200mg Dried Ferrous Sulfate PhEur equivalent to 65mg elemental iron.
Other ingredients: spray dried liquid glucose, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose (101) (E460), lactose granules containing lactose, maize starch, pregelatinised maize starch, purified talc (E553), acacia (E414), gelatin, sucrose, titanium dioxide (E171) and yellow carnauba wax.
Usage

Usage

Adults and the elderly: Treatment: TWO or THREE tablets a day in divided doses. Prevention: ONE tablet a day.
Children 6-12 years: Treatment:
Children weighing over 22kg: one tablet a day.
Children weighing over 44kg: one tablet twice a day.
Children weighing over 66kg: one tablet three times a day.
Children under 6 years or weighing less than 22kg Not recommended.

Warnings

These tablets contain iron so it is important to keep out of the reach and sight of children, as overdose may be fatal. Administer with caution in patients with haemolytic anaemia, haemoglobinopathies, iron-storage or iron-absorption diseases, existing gastrointestinal disease.

Standard UK Delivery - £3.49

We aim to deliver orders within 3 working days if you order before 3.00pm to the shipping address provided by you in your order and providing the shipping address is in the UK.  For orders being delivered outside the UK, this will be longer and we cannot give a guaranteed delivery time due to the differences between carriers. Delivery timescales are estimates only. If you do not receive your order within 7 days of us confirming your order has been sent, you must notify us and we will investigate the non-delivery. Orders from outside the UK have varied delivery charges, depending on the particular country.  Please note that in some instances you may be required to answer product related questions about the usage of medicines by our Pharmacist as part of the checkout process, failure to answer these will cause delays.

Delivery charges for orders outside the UK will vary.

Express UK Delivery - £7.99

Please note that Express delivery is only available on orders placed before 1pm (GMT) Monday to Friday in the UK.  After 1pm we cannot guarantee express delivery, even if it has been selected.  Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service, but is an expedited delivery option.
